The stay was pleasant, as the room was clean and I appreciated the comfortable beds. The location is ideal, being close to downtown Bardstown and various attractions like distilleries and museums. The shower head lacked pressure and could use an upgrade. It was a good spot for a family getaway.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was great and the room was clean and newly painted. The location was perfect, very close to the downtown historical district and also close to the Walmart business/interstate district. We would stay there again if we are in the area.

Great place for the price. Clean and owners and staff very friendly. New remote controlled heater/air conditioner is a nice upgrade.

Location is convenient and easily accessible.
The room was poorly maintained with outdated fixtures. The air conditioning was loud and barely effective. I had to deal with broken amenities throughout my stay, frustrating.

The restaurant the owner recommended was horrible. In addition (although I do not have it in front of me) the total cost of the room as indicated by my email was 53$, however, it wasnt till after I had left I saw the owner had charged me 56$. I didnt have any extra fees, or anything. Why the difference. I am booking this as a value, then I get charged 5% more when the 'total' cost is higher when I arrive? Sounds fishy

Family with children, you might want to think twice
At least the WiFi was solid, strong enough for Netflix. The A/C was a joke, barely keeping us cool when it was 90 degrees outside.
Honestly, the price wasn't exactly a steal but we made it work.
